Following several successful years running the ABRSM Certificate for Music Educators, the Piano Teachers' Course UK (PTC) is now running an exciting new course that coaches teachers directly towards the Teaching DipABRSM.Designed and delivered by PTC Course Director Lucinda Mackworth-Young and Principal Tutor, pianist and pedagogue Beate Toyka, the 2018-2019 course has already begun.This first pilot year is filled solely with PTC alumni – those who've already attained a certificate or diploma from the Piano Teachers' Course UK – but from next year, it'll be open to all interested piano teachers.Designed with in-built flexibility to meet a variety of interests and needs, the course offers the opportunity to attend a wide range of relevant PTC lectures and workshops, as well as receive small group and individual tuition towards the Theory or Musicianship prerequisite and other diploma requirements.Here’s what current PTC students are saying:“I would whole-heartedly recommend anyone considering doing the PTC DipABRSM course to book a PTC Open Day and find out more.”“Having grown in confidence throughout the PTC, I jumped at the chance to join the DipABRSM course.
